About
An independent, accredited analytical laboratory
Ion Trace Labs is an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited analytical testing laboratory specializing in the demanding analytical needs of battery recycling, advanced materials, and precision industries.
Our foundation
Accreditation is not a badge — it is the operating system
Ion Trace Labs was built from the ground up around the ISO/IEC 17025 international standard for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. Every method we run, every instrument we operate, and every result we report is governed by a documented quality system with traceable calibration, validated procedures, and quantified measurement uncertainty.
We specialize in the analytical challenges of battery recycling and advanced materials — complex leachates from black-mass processing, ultra-pure electrolytes and salts, trace impurity control at ppb levels, and full elemental characterization of precursors, cathodes, and process streams. That same rigor extends to specialty chemicals, semiconductor-grade materials, petrochemical, and environmental testing programs where accuracy is not optional.
We work with cell and cathode manufacturers, black-mass and hydrometallurgical recyclers, electrolyte and salt producers, chemical and plating operations, semiconductor supply chains, petrochemical producers, and environmental consultants — anyone who needs a defensible answer about what is actually in their sample.
Our commitment is simple: accurate, traceable, and reliable analytical data, delivered through advanced instrumentation, validated methods, and intelligent data analysis.
What we stand for
Six commitments that define our laboratory
ISO/IEC 17025 Foundation
Full accreditation is the core of everything we do. Documented quality management, participation in proficiency testing, and traceable calibration on every instrument.
Validated Methods
Written procedures with method validation packages, control charts, and quantified measurement uncertainty for every reported result.
Specialized Expertise
Deep experience in battery recycling and advanced materials — trace impurity control, complex leachate characterization, and high-purity chemical analysis.
Defensible Data
Data packages suitable for process control, product release, regulatory submission, and third-party review.
Mission
Deliver accurate, traceable, and reliable analytical data that our clients can trust for the decisions that matter.
Location
Houston, Texas — at the center of North America's chemical, energy, and advanced materials industries.
